Anthony possesses nearly twenty years of experience in technology — supporting businesses ranging from small MSPs to large hotel chains and major financial institutions like RBC in effectively integrating cloud technology into their operations.
He founded DefDev to help emerging and established organizations navigate the ever-evolving technology landscape, with a focus on Cloud First, Code First engineering and exceptional mentorship.
Anthony actively builds and ships open source tooling for the cloud-native ecosystem — including OpenDepot, a Kubernetes-native self-hosted registry for OpenTofu and Terraform modules and providers; ferme, an end-to-end MLOps pipeline that ingests and scores the OpenTofu Registry at scale, curates fine-tuning datasets using a teacher LLM, and trains security-aware IaC code models via QLoRA; and terracreds, a credential helper for securely managing Terraform and OpenTofu secrets.
His recent engineering focus spans Agentic AI workflows, large-scale data ingestion pipelines, and fine-tuning open-weight language models for domain-specific tasks — bringing the same infrastructure-first discipline he applies to cloud engineering directly into the ML stack.
